I'm
Katherine Fraze and these are some of the dogs I've saved. In my lifetime I have saved over 800 animals. The photos you see here today are dogs I have rescued that currently live with me at our Sanctuary on 130 acres of Indiana forest. For the past ten years, I have resided in a camper that has no running water with 34 very happy dogs. Despite the emotional, financial and medical hardships I'm faced with on a daily basis, I feel privileged that I'm able to realize my lifelong dream: being surrounded by the animals I've saved, all of us living blissfully on a beautifully secluded, sprawling piece of land. I want to continue saying "yes" when asked to help, be it a litter of puppies whose Mama has died, dogs left behind in foreclosed properties or pulling doomed, aged dogs from the overwhelmed county shelters in our area.
Many of the dogs I rescue go on to become therapeutic visitors to people in need. We, as an empathetic community, benefit greatly as many people are healed through animal assisted therapy. The positive impact that this reciprocal and symbiotic interaction provides is sublime. I get to make a difference and so can you. I desperately need and am humbly asking you today, to please support my efforts.
I can't continue to do so without your help.
